In the last 35 years, the U.S. has gone from importing 24% of its oil needs to almost 70%, much of it from politically unstable countries.
At current oil prices, the U.S. will export 700 billion dollars this year alone. Projected over the next 10 years, this cost will be 10 trillion dollars, the greatest transfer of wealth in the history of mankind.
